What do you and Jamie think about the drainage in our backyard? We get deluged once in a while, and would like your ideas (and estimate) for improving the drainage, if feasible. You mentioned possibly adding a perforated pipe to the system, which I imagine would be wider than the tubes we have there now, would be covered with landscape canvas, and then covered with the rocks (something like a French drain?). Do you think this would work better? Let us know (at your convenience - there’s no hurry).

This past winter, we had Leonard Landscaping take on the job of a full overhaul of our property. You name it, they did it.Brendan and his designer carefully planned out a fabulous new plan. From landscape lights,stone walls, a new patio, a beautiful waterfall, a new walkway, and many new trees and plants. Almost 3 years ago, Leonard Landscaping landscaped the front and back  yards of our home.  We had lived with lots of wild plants for a long  time, and the improvement is amazing!  Brendan and his crew were  talented, professional, neat, and the transformation was very quick.   They come back each year in early spring to prune, edge, mulch, and  replace any plants that need it.

As with any new home, the builder installed standard shrubbery, which added nothing to the visual affect of its overall beauty. I contracted Leonard Landscaping to design a plan that would compliment our house year-around. The trees and shrubs purchased and installed were high quality.
